Formation of the organization
Ms. Birukan Mengiste was the motivation force behind the formation of "Birtu child focused organization" following the start of its service, the organization,has been in existence for a log time,both privatly and in collaboration with other organization.because of her vision and the fact that the fact that she has goen through it,the organization was formed to ensure that support is secure in the future
PURPOSE
Aiding cancer patients and persons with dis-abilites,as well as children,mothers, and youth,in Ethiopia,in becoming selfsufficeint citizens by providing them vocational traingings
GOAL
• Provide medical and nutrition support to cancer patient while they are undergoing treatment.
• Encourage children to receive an education and grow into responsible citizens.
• Assisting needy mothers in maintaining a healthy lifestyle by avoiding extreme poverty.
• Encourage young people to break free from harmful convention behaviors and become citizens who work for the good of their country and themselves.
For cancer patient children’s under treatment at black lion hospital
A.FOR SICK CHILDREN IN THE BLACK LION HOSPITAL
1. Feed nutritious foods that has protein ingredients such as milk, eggs, meat, poultry, and fish that will help them to resist the medication
2. Purchase and supply medication to those who are unable to purchase the prescribed medication
3. Supporting transportation costs for patients that came from far places or country of origin from hospital
4. Provide advice and support cancer patients
B.FOR MENELIK ELEMENTERY SCHOOL
1. Provide transportation funds for students with disability
2. Purchase and supply medicine to students who are unable to purchase medication after getting medical treatment
3. Encourage student that support their families by selling gums, mobile card and soft paper, to stay calm and be successful by supporting their parents’lives so that they can learn more.
We will also provides a variety of materials to these parts of our society, for instance: to provide hygiene materials for female students, provide recorders, Braille books, hearing aids, and crutches for our blind people. Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us in this community development deeds.
